OUR STORY
Hocklim Engineering is a civil and geotechnical engineering company with a specialisation in climate resilience and flood mitigation measures.
Our main clients are Singapore government agencies such as the Public Utilities Board (PUB), Singapore Land Authority (SLA) and Housing & Development Board (HDB) on infrastructure maintenance projects. Working closely with qualified engineers and architects, our teams provide end-to-end turnkey services in drainage works, slope protection and soil investigation.
Increasingly, Hocklim is also collaborating on the design and implementation of emerging construction technologies such as the GeoBarrier System (GBS) and other future sustainability solutions.
We regularly receive government grants to pursue research in topics aligned with Singapore’s climate strategy. To date, Hocklim has signed Research and Collaboration Agreements (RCAs) with National Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS) and HDB in Singapore, as well as Nazarbayev University in Kazhakstan and Southeast University in China (东南大学).
Our goal is to continue our innovations in climate management applications, and bring working technologies into the field and to market.
In 2022, Hocklim Engineering received the Enterprise 50 (E50) award for Green Construction solutions, cementing it as one of the most enterprising privately-held companies contributing to the economic development of Singapore. We won the Most Sustainable category in the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC) Awards in 2021 for our work on the GeoBarrier System, and we are a regular recipient of HDB and Enterprise SG’s Cool Ideas Enterprise awards.
